I believe. I really do. I believe in God and the life beyond.
Somehow I think the police officers and firemen who pulled infant Lily Groesbeck from a partially submerged car in which she’d been trapped – upside down in her car seat for 13 hours – believe as well.
As they approached the wreck, unsure of what they would find, these firemen and policemen heard a voice from the car call out “help.” It may have said “help me” or “help her,” but it was a distinctly adult voice. All the men who righted the car and saved the baby inside it heard the voice, though medical personnel on the scene say that Lynn Groesbeck, the 25 year-old mother of the baby, couldn’t have been the one calling out as she was tragically killed on impact.
So who did call out?
Someone did. And that’s a miracle.
