Week Eight – The Denver Broncos at the Indianapolis Colts

The time has come for Peyton Manning to show Andrew Luck that the future is not quite now…

This game promises to be one for the ages. There is an obvious rivalry between these two teams and it’s a good one. The subplots are thick, the Colts are the darlings of the media going into the season and the Broncos owe the Colts for dumping them from the playoffs last year.

The suggestion is that the Colts are a much improved team, but their additions have been primarily on the offensive side of the ball. What about that defense?

It’s the half-way point. It’s time to separate the two from the bottom in the conference. I suspect the Colts will be favored in this one. I suspect the Broncos will win.
