It seems appropriate to revisit a few archived posts today… Next month, HULU premieres a miniseries adaptation of this Steven King novel produced by JJ Abrams and starring James Franco.
About 20 years ago, I became fascinated with the conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy. I read a number of books on the subject, waited in great anticipation for Oliver Stone’s JFK and tried to engage people on the topic. Frequently. I became convinced that each of these theories had some validity, that there was enough smoke to suggest a fire and that Kennedy was simply not killed by a demented lone assassin acting on a desire to achieve some kind of fame.
20 years later, I am not as sure.
During the commemorations of the 50th anniversary of the assassination (isn’t it strange that we actually commemorate such a terrible event?), it occurred to me that I might want to revisit some of those old musings.
