Happy Birthday William Shatner

On Tuesday, William Shatner turned 85. I have been reading (and will review in a later installment of Star Trek at 50) his book about Leonard Nimoy who also would have turned 85 this year.

If you check in on these Star Trek posts, you probably know a thing or two about Shatner. Many things about him are impressive, not the least of which is his energy at age 85. I hope to be that active in 40 or so years myself!

Entertainment Weekly did a photo retrospective of Shatner that is very much worth viewing.

Happy Birthday, Captain Kirk!
